New Work

Due to exponential technological advances, today we have access to an endless supply of information and resources through the Internet. This Global connection through social medias and websites allows us the opportunity of an expanded viewpoint. What we do with that viewpoint is what counts.

My job as an artist is to explore and interpret these raw materials. By having expanded access to people, observing their behavioral tendencies and interaction, helps me form personal opinions about what it is to be human. I then attempt to translate these ideas into a form of visual poetry.

Iris and the Peacock

A step aside from my work to create a commissioned piece inspired by the Art Nouveau Period. An incredibly detailed peacock sits atop a branch with tail feathers that swoop around and adorn the lovely form. On the other side, emerges an iris in full bloom. From the base, graceful stylized leaves  spiral around and branch up along the sides. The form sits on a black porcelain base.
